James Michael FitzGerald, PhD Political Science, York University

James FitzGerald is a PhD candidate at York University. His doctoral research focuses on the affective politics of settler colonialism.  He holds a MA in Political Science and a Graduate Diploma in International and Security Studies. He previous attended the University of Ottawa for Political Science and Theater. His four areas of interest are settler colonialism, human trafficking, technology and surveillance, and the popular culture turn in international relations.
